Day 004
Harmonica Basics
Planned for April 9, 2026. A music day focused on breath, rhythm, and sounding slightly less chaotic than expected.
Why I Picked This
I like the harmonica because it feels portable, playful, and a little old-school. It is also intimidating in a very honest way: if your breathing is messy, the sound tells on you instantly.
This page is here so the challenge has a real home before the attempt. I will update it later with clips, rough notes, and the first melody I can play without thinking too hard.

What I Learned
This section is still placeholder copy. After the actual challenge day, I will note which drills helped, how hard clean single notes were, and what felt surprisingly fun.
- Breath control is the real beginner skill, not speed.
- Simple note changes are enough to feel progress early.
- It is one of those skills where confidence changes the sound a lot.

Would I Do It Again?
Yes. A pocket instrument that can become part of travel, quiet evenings, or random breaks feels worth revisiting.
